Hi rozzbud

Footwork'n is a weird rhythm algorithm that andré came up with.

Richard Devine posted a photo of the Euclidean Rythm Generator on his facebook, wonder if the module would be available soon... :guinness:

The ADDAC site appears to have the 402 up! Is it true? Has this day finally come? I surely hope so.

The 402 is here!

I came back from vacation and look what had arrived*

Here's the same thing on Instagram (in case you're into that)

*I did order the module, so it's not like it just randomly showed up.

I do have a question for ADDAC, though. What's with the magnifying glass? Was it for customs, or something? I never would have expected it, but it's great. And I could totally use a magnifying glass, too. While on vacation, my inlaws love to sit by the lake and use a magnifying glass to burn shapes and patterns (and words) into dried driftwood "bones". Now I can join the party.

Thanks, ADDAC.

I picked mine up at the Addac Office in Lisbon as I happened to do a show there the same day as I got a message that my pre-order was ready for delivery. The magnifying glass is a nice touch, of course a bit of a joke due to the small screen size.

Anyways, I had mine for about two weeks now and all I can say is that it makes me rethink a lot of my system as I'll be of no need of several modules as the 402 replaces them. Very easy to use, endless possbilities, patterns that can stay focused for long periods and slightly shift them or just go totally crazy by cv'ng every single Fill, Swing or reset.. It's a very very nice module!
No need for the magnifying glass though :yay:

Nice timing!

Oh, right! Okay, cool. Good one. Funny that I hadn't caught that one.

And yeah, this thing is great. :hail:

I do however find myself wishing that I could individually adjust a slight delay between parts so as to create more of a "pocket". For example, to be able to make Voice 1 just a tiny bit ahead of the clock, and make Voice 2 lay back a bit from the clock, etc. That functionality would make my case explode with awesome. :deadbanana:

Well what you need is some Logic modules running beside the 402, It's sometimes essential what you do with signals both BEFORE and AFTER stuff happens.

One more thing that might be useful:

What are you clocking the 402 with? I use Pamela's Workout, which might look like total overkill but what you get is seven more on/off timed clocks to fire up things, try running PW in Euclidian mode at the same time you feed the 402 with one of the clocks... quite spectacular.

Oh right! Of course. The thing has gate outs, so just process those after the fact. Oh man. Excited. :hyper:

ATM, I'm clocking with Yarns. So actually, I could run that Euclidean trick you suggested 8-)

But yeah, I was considering PW because I just keep needing more triggers. Instead of running Batumi in DIV mode, I'd rather clock each separately for better control, shift, etc. I'm also trying to fit things into 208hp, so I figure I'd lose Yarns and slide in PW plus something to delay those gates. Any suggestions? I assume that a digital delay can achieve this, but maybe there's a nice swiss army knife or multi-output device?

https://www.modulargrid.net/e/animodule-gate-mod looks like it might be right up your alley ;)

there's some other trigger/gate delays available but this one have had my attention before but still haven't found the time to try it.
