I'm making a power cable and I have two rather large problems.
1. I have no idea how to attach the wire to the pins of the din cable. Yes I tried soldering, butt connectors and even tiny surgical tubing holds.
2. I'm not sure I have a correct pin out. The information on the Wiard Yahoo group lists green for ground red for + black for - But which direction of orientation on the inside of the din am I going.
Anyway, I should know this stuff hopefully I will soon. _________________ Tommy DOG

You'll probably have to have a bit of tail coming out of the DIN connector that you can strip out to get to the individual wires inside it, which you'll need to solder to the wires of your Blacet-type wire.

I can't tell you, but I can tell you how to figure it out.
Take one of your existing Wiard power cables off one of your existing Wiard modules. Use a multimeter or a simple continuity tester to check each pin on the Molex connector and which pin in the DIN connector it corresponds with. Sorted |

Thanks Muff.
No tail on the DIN just hollow stumps that are so small and shallow I would need to use wire wrap and have the fingers of a Chinese child slave worker. _________________ Tommy DOG
