i am tearing my hair out! the Doepfer A-199 reverb has two RCA cables that go out the back and into a reverb tank. I cut the cables and stripped them putting the correct ends with the correct reverb tank ins and outs and now it's not working ... i don't know what to do?! _________________ free modular industrial albums at www.incekt.com |

So are you saying you cut the cables (to route them through a panel or something), and re-connected them to the Doepfer standard tank (presumably the little Belton one), or have you attempted to attach a larger spring line or something??

Try it with the smaller tank again to verify that your wiring etc is correct. If it is then you can troubleshoot from there. _________________ | My Facebook | My Soundcloud |My Vimeo | My YouTube | My GrooveShark | |

Hey man I'm thinking of doing this exact thing. If you wouldn't mind, some sound samples would be much appreciated!
Also, I' played out with my a-199 for the first time last night. I do really loud, bass heavy noise and it fed back like a bitch. Anyone else have this problem? |

I haven't played live yet with mine but maybe a "tank bag" would help? Go here and do a search on Tank Bag:

Out of interest, what is the spec of the larger tank that you have hooked up?
