I L ve them! Such a simple circuit, but a total mindfuck to figure out how all the controls affect one another and sounds awesome too! Thanks for making these available.
The CGS DC mixer and switching jacks(including the crazy dpdt one in the top left) allow them to function independently, in stereo, series or parallel with no toggle switches or outside patching or if you don't plug anything in it puts the first one in a feedback loop and then through the second one. Great fun!

You should make a video and/or an audio demo. I'd love to hear this thing sing. I have 2 PB barebones kits and a DC mixer sitting on my desk right now. I didn't even think of combining them... |

Thanks guys
I'm thinking of making a video demo but I'd have to ditch the camera mic and figure out how to sync up some high quality audio before I could come close to doing it justice.

I took a big ass file to it after drilling the holes. All part of the standard deburring process. _________________ It was only a hundred miles or so to the ice caverns, and the second day, when we were lying out under the blistering sun-thing he had materialized, he sent down some manna. Love the panel! & the mega-normalization!! This would be the 1st PB Voice module then?
Extra attens. on the CV inputs (thats whats goin on right) is an awesome idea! May have to steal that one! |

Looks fantastic Neandrewthal!
How did you make the front panel graphics?

Yeah, this is the first version of the PB before there was even the option to add VC gain. That's ok, though, as I find changing the input level produces more interesting variations and you can always control that with a VCA.
The attenuators are a must for me since I don't have(or want) any attenuator modules and 10vPP CV's shoot this thing right off the map.
As for the panel, very close. Adhesive metal

fuckit, since this is such a shining example I'm just going to ask it here;
'
where's the best place to buy metalphoto sheets, let's call it "in bulk". I think I'll be doing roughly 100 modules over the next couple of years. |

Horizons ISG makes Metalphoto, here's their dealer list page:

I don't know much about metalphoto, but with ID mark, the minimum direct order is a pack of ten 10x12" sheets. How much more "in bulk" would you want than that? One of those packs does 30 of my big ass panels, so if yours are pretty standard density eurorack modules(and not super-spacious ala consumed), that would go pretty far towards fulfilling your 100 modules. _________________ It was only a hundred miles or so to the ice caverns, and the second day, when we were lying out under the blistering sun-thing he had materialized, he sent down some manna. Totally awesome!

My technique involves recording to a DAW and camcorder at the same time and leading the footage with a shot of short taps on my keyboard that I can manually sync using a waveform view in my video editor. It sounds tedious and isn't the most savvy idea, but it only takes a couple of seconds, and no one's complained yet.
Cheers,
Brian |

thanks neandrewthal - and yes, a newskool version of the old clapper/ "scene slate" is what you need.
What I usually do is insert a jack with a swift motion - that gets me an audio AND a video cue to sync up the audio. Takes seconds. |
