in my current panel i dont have wshape i just have the direct sine wave. but it sounds good, not a perfect sine shape on my cro but it sounds pretty wonky and i like it. but to answer your question i got my pcb about a year ago rev0.3 or 0.4 i think.

that link sets the pulse width doesnt it?
so what happens we you take away the link?
which side of the SAW did you connect it to, perhaps try the other
have you checked for shorts?
(you probably have but worth doing again incase you dropped some solder somewhere or something, sounds like something is up)

im rethinking the ps3100 stereo mod, seems like mathias is re-releasing that design with stereo so might wait to see how that pans out (excuse the pun smile)

Actually, I had to add a new link between the AC saw output pad and it's associated capacitor that was supposed to be on the PCB. This is also feeds the comparator for the square wave. I guess I'll have to give it another once over with the magnifying glass.

oooh. so are you taking your current BZ's and converting them to Wiard format or do you have two new BZ's for this project?
For this first one, I'm going to be converting the pair I have already smile I need to free up another row in the frac case to make room for the processing rig.

In a complete departure from form, and acknowledging that I still play guitar more than modular, I'm going to build the three JH projects, a YuSynth diode filter, and a module to be named later in MOTM format, and drop that in the cabinet with the frac stuff. A third cabinet will have to be built, and I'll drop all the clock, sequencer, and divider stuff into that one.

I can't really hang with this hardcore level of DIY folk but I'll try to get there. The best I can do for now is 2 Flight of Harmony Plague Bearers and some utility modules like mults, inverters, mixers and some joystick/touchplate thingys. I have a lot of ideas for crazy shit someday.

Welcome to the club! Everything I have done so far is more or less connect the dots even though there have been superficially a bit more complex projects... Maybe I'll actually learn something one day.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. Actually one of the other projects I started a while back is this "Trigger Box" idea:

So far it's a set of 3 clips with piezo elements. I can clamp on to a piece of guitar string, spring or whatever, amplify the hell out of it and use as a sound or CV source. I'm still thinking of other interesting ways to set it up. So I guess I should put that on my list.

Well I just bought two Buchla 281 clone PCBs from Peake, so officially I have them + five 292c clone PCBs on my plate.

Hopefully I'm going to start getting the stuff for my Arduinome soon as well. I think that's enough projects to get me started for now.

Now i am really inspired- i just received in the mail an sn-voice pcb & chip, Verbos Buchla 258 oscillator pcb & Verbos 292 LPG pcb. I'm still waiting on the 281 pcb's, i hope they haven't been lost in the mail.
Initially i was pretty keen to bananafy this system, and seeing all the recent discussion on bananas has cemented my decision to go ahead with the plan.
Should have paypal up soon, in time to make up a BOM for all the pcb's i have & put in a parts order.

So: Panels came today!

Klee Panel and "Krunkus" mounting panel for the slide pots: EPIC WIN.

Dual Blacet Binary Zone Panel: FAIL. I screwed up a measurement on the lag button and had to drill a new one. Ooops.

BZ migration done. Krunkus populated. Working on Klee panel mount parts and strap wiring tonight and tomorrow.

first of all, I HATE that I actually know what a Klee fader sub-assembly plate looks like! very frustrating d'oh!

Secondly:
SlayerBadger! SlayerBadger! SlayerBadger! Guinness ftw! love

a few closeups of the 5u "standard wiard" frontplates, perhaps? I see an attenuator board that's to die for in there!
