Cool, but I hope the panel isn't finalized, it's a bit confusing. I like the abstractness, but at clarity/functionality's cost.

Seems like it could be very handy, but I'm wondering if there's vactrols, I assume so since the 292 is mentioned. I'd love to hear it. smile

Awesome, I was waiting for this one! The panel was much bigger than I expected though. I'm glad I made some room in my case recently.

Odd yes, I suppose better than 24hp, which is what two Plan-B's Model 13's would be.

He mentions Vactrols in the text. Can't see a Buchla style gate without them. Wanna hear the gate in HP mode.

Sure, but I never look in that forum, this belongs here for Euro users.

I feel bad for those people who've been waiting years for Cyndustries to get her LP Gates out. Time to change. Euro now has Plan-B, Doepfer and now this to choose from.

I meant I don't want them any more than I did before I saw this razz They are just bare PCBs that aren't even manufactured yet, though. Just paid for.

Things are looking great, that's for sure!

I think the LPG phenomenon is a sign that we are moving into new territory with modulars - the days of the vco, vcf, vca retardation are nearly over. Add to that the new waves of both FSU modules (distortions, hyper filters) and digital devices, both "proper" dsp devices and lo-fi crunchy ones and you get a pretty good idea about the direction we're headed:
More diversity, more ways of stretching the capabilities of modular synthesis beyond the domain that has long since been claimed by computer code. Multiply that by the newcomers in the business - Flight Of Harmony, MakeNoise, The Harvest Man and others - and things are looking very fucking sweet right about now! we're not worthy

The module is very simple to use, and will ship with a manual, you will not be confused, trust me.

As for vactrols, yes; The module has 8 vactrols in it!

Not yet, I have just started building these, so I am still trying to get an idea on the assembly time. It will definitely be less expensive then purchasing two model 13 or four A-101-2 modules.

Its going to be all elbows and assholes for the rest of the day here at my shop. Hoping these may be available to you all soon!

I really dig the faceplate on this one!

Also, regarding the width, it just makes me want a Zorlon Cannon that much more (which is to say 23HP and 11HP are unruly numbers on their own, but a nice even number like 34HP is a lot easier to work around. Plus, I just want a Zorlon Cannon).

yeah, I remember that from my circuitbending days... perhaps some audio samples or a picture might stimulate a bit more grin

I'm on the fence with the a-140's.... I only have one adsr... plus my vcs. So.. I need envelopes anyway but, I like on the 143-2 how you can chain the four seperate adsrs to basicly make a "sequence"

The only sequencing modules I have is a metalbox sequential switch, and a plan b tap clock and a doepfer clock divider. I was really hoping to toss the 143-2 in the mix but everyone raves about the 143-1. Can you also chain the four envelopes in series to create a "sequences" ? Thanks guys! smile

Oh and... I'm snagging one of those quad lpg's as well.. smile

Certainly can. It's the default operation of the module if you don't plug anything into the trigger jacks.
