The lack of videos showing tight modular audio and modular video integration is a little disappointing... I'd love to see some.

howdy Monobass! hyper I'm planning to post some videos to you-tube featuring the lzx lineup interacting with various sequenced modules (with video projected above my euroracks so you will be able to see how changing the patch alters the video and how changes in video content influences the audio).

the first one will probably feature re-colorization of my preview video for 'flames, shadows and clouds', the version of which i will be uploading in a few hours this evening is largely composed of 1930's black and white images.

i may forgo video synthesis in the video itself- due to the anticipated difficulty in regaining the momentum i presently have to tame the 1 hr 56 minute beast... but then again, i will be uploading that in approximately 10 minute segments. so some of the later segments could receive some vsyn treatment.

the grateful dead parody/medley i plan to record and post next month will definitely be centered around video derangment of tie-dye patterns and fractal images... or whatever the coolest concept i can come up with between now and july is...

is there anything specific that you (or any other of the fine cats on this forum) would especially like to see (besides my mum in a swimsuit, that is lol)?

suggestions are welcome, as always....... smile

While not made using the new modular system, the videos at the link below were made in the 80s by Matthew Schlanger using my video synths and oscillators. A set of audio and CV modules were used to manipulate both the video and audio, so it gives a good idea of some of what will be possible with the new system. None of these videos use cameras or tapes. They are all pure image synthesis from oscillators and CV modules.

Matthew, BTW, worked for me and for the TV Center back then, laying out PC boards, soldering boards and wiring boxes.

Wow, Dave -- Matt's work is really incredible!!! I'll be watching these for a while.

Thanks for sharing the details on those older systems too.

got myself a small 100euro camera and started doing video feedback again. wow, almost forgot how beautifull that can be. really longing for some modules now to couple that with my eurorack audiosynth ....
