I was at Big City earlier today, Josh started a patch, we tagteamed a couple cables, and this video was made from the results. smile The Synthi Trapezoid Generator and EMS Filter combo is sick. I wish I had the space and money for them. Maybe next year if i start another eurorac or sell some modules.

I have the synthi filter, which is cool (even though Im selling it!) but I dont really like how it kills the signal when you pump up the resonance.

I understand that this is normal with older filters, but I still dont like it,

but man when you crank up that resonance it sounds like no other!

I had the trapezoid generator for a couple days, it didn't like my doepfer case, some weirdness with the power, but I definitely want it and the EMS Synthi filter eventually...especially after getting this patch together.

The RS-380 Modulation Controller is a hell of a do it all module. LFO, Noise, S&H and VCA.

The Synthi filter was my first in '05 that sold a year later. I was nostalgic a bit ago and bought it again. I was not pleased with how the resonance dips volume so much and it cuts off quite a bit of high end even when fully open. It has quite a lot of low end though more than any other filter I've heard other than the Doepfer A-105 SSM.
