Yeeaaahhhh ffucccker.
You got some nice sounds Navs.
Now remove that post immediately, or face having your throat cut across,
your tongue torn out by its roots, and your body buried in the rough sands of
the sea at low water mark, where the tide ebbs and flows twice in twenty
four hours _________________

Great demo Nav! |
Sold me too..
Hope to get one in the next couple weeks.
Selling most of my MOTM stuff right now to fund a rather large investment into Metasonix. _________________ -]|- Low-Gain Electronics -|[-

>>The R54...makes a great, if contrary, companion to the green in my system<<
Navs, I would love to hear some of these patch examples through your Res-4. |

Very nice, Navs. Yeah, it doesn't always play well with Silent Way, that's what the R-60 is for. _________________ Metasonix

Interesting. I was considering an R51 but maybe this would allow for a little more variety. Maybe this is a silly question for a Metasonix module, but how is it for simple distortion? _________________ Cut With Flourish |

ynth, do you mean sending the R54 through the RES-4? There is one example in the SC clip of the R54 being processed by the FSH-1 frequency shifter.
Eric, I'm glad you like the sounds - thanks for a wonderful VCO!
For tracking, an easy workaround it to use an analogue sequencer.
What is the 'VCA mod' marked on the PCB? _________________ http://navsmodularlab.blogspot.com/

it's anything BUT another boring VCA, if you're at all wondering.
I find my R-53 gets used quite a bit less, but then you may have plans for becoming a total ringmod/waveshaping demon and so therefore I'm just yappin'!
whatever you do, I have a feeling that you'll enjoy the hell out of your R54 - it's one of the first modules I had to have two of |
Thanks for the recommendation shaft9000 I kind of have my eye on the R-51 and R-53... unfortunately I only have room for 3 more modules in my 12u and 2 more yellow bricks o' tubes will not fit. I may have to add 1 more 6u before quenching my Serge thirst.
I just got the R-54 un-boxed and in my rig... after 15mins. of messing around all I can say is HOLY SHIT ! ! !
I'm dialing in so many sick sounds from crazy percussive rubbery thuds and thumps to strange modulated burps, farts and some really killer drones. This module is unruly, untamed and comes factory shipped with a very mischievous spirit!
I'm going to go play for a few hours.
I'll record and upload some sound files tonight or tomorrow.
This one will keep me busy and creative for years. _________________ Sound:
