If future sound samples are available on request could we hear one of the outputs being routed back into Freq/amp inputs? With some of the FM and RM routings this could get interesting. twisted

doubtful. not sure how it could become obsolete. it's an oscillator seriously, i just don't get it

anyway - Phil said he keeps track of this thread so hopefully we'll get an update sooner or later. the sound files he linked to are pretty awesome sounding. i really hope this module sees the light of day before too long.

I wasn't serious. Just wanted to light a fire under Phil's butt.

But, there is now the Cyclebox which to me does a lot of what the Subsytem did. By the time this ever gets released there may be more to Phil the void.

yeah.. cyclebox sounds great but they aren't exactly available or inexpensive.. i think there is one FS on the forum at $80 over the price of a new one. who knows if there will be more any time soon? perhaps another run of cycleboxes will be available when this malekko oscillator voodoo comes to fruition?

was just reading that cyclebox2 thread. very interesting oscillator. seems quite different than the subsystem.. most glaring difference is that the cyclebox seems to actually exist! zing! lol

srsly though.. i hope this still happens. i really like the demos phil posted.. the cyclebox does cover a lot of territory though.

I'm not interested in the cyclebox, only this. I don't understand why people are comparing the two.

I'm sure the subsystem will be great when it's done. It's peanut butter jelly time!

I'm still interested.

The Ring Mod, Frequency Shifter modes are unique.
Plus 3 oscillators/operators.

I think I recall that J.Magic bought one of the first 5 CBs.
Maybe they were inspired to pop the resolution up beyond
16-bit. I like the 24-bit/96kHz quality of the CB.

Halloween '11 is coming upon us.

Will we get Trick or Treat?

i'm definitely interested. i have some space in the cabinet now.. actually i have had one big hole for this module specifically.

not in a hurry to fill it with something arbitrarily. i have a good thing going with the system as is and no money burning a hole in my pocket.. for better or worse so i can wait but it'd be nice to know it is on it's way...

again.. i really like the sounds he posted.

news phil?
