Vermona MT3-2R Organ Formant Filter clone

A filter... with a built in guitar pickup as part of its circuitry?!!!!

WTF hmmm.....

Please tell us more.

How does a magnetic pickup (with 6 pole pieces no less) benefit the internal workings of a filter?

yes - the filter has a coil inside w/ a big value which is not available.
so i use a humbucker coil for the LC resonator in the clarinet sound smile

I saw it on ebay.

The format it is built in won't work for me.

PCBs for the DIY inclined might get a broader interest.

Sound demos would be much appreciated.

What cool idea!
I can't locate those big, honking coils so I look forward to experimenting with these.

I'll admit i've been kind of curious about this filter too, is there a video with it being used on something other than organ?
