When I mouse over that link in the first post of the thread you link to, the URL shown in the status line of my browser doesn't have the space in it. Just in the text that is displayed on the page. I would guess that is so the displayed text won't stretch the page. But as long as the actual URL being linked to doesn't have that space, it will work.

Bumping this as stk has been kind enough to write an amazing new version of the sc embed code, which no longer uses flash and now works on iOS as well as fixes the URL length and word wrap issues encountered previously.

Amazing job! Thanks so much to stk - I think this one was a lot of work so he deserves some serious kudos!

Good work stk! This place would still be great without soundcloud but it's a great thing to have on a place like this.

im sorry I still can't get the soundcloud embedding to work... it keeps on adding a space at the end of the soundcould link right before the [/s]

for me using the default short-link widget in soundcloud for providing the url works as a work-around solution
