u2 - "the joshua tree" 20th anniversary edition, double heavyweight vinyl

skip james - "the complete recordings" (you might know one of these early blues tracks from the ghostworld movie)

the previously mentioned "death in june" and "black dog" releases are also still on heavy rotation!

last summer i brought back a lot of my old vinyl collection from the uk, mainly techno and ambient stuff from around 1990-1994. i have been spinning the orb's "adventures beyond the ultraworld" and "the blue room" 12" a lot. great stuff! i'm not really a fan of anything after "u.f.orb" though.

I DO like Orbus Terrarum... though Orblivion was really the first thing that got me hooked.

if only Montagne D'Or was longer on Orbus.....

cool, i also have the jimmy cauty "space" album and the klf's "chill out" on vinyl too. i don't think fsol's "lifeforms" album has stood the test of time well, but the the first amorphous androgynous album still sounds fantastic.

i also have a shitload of old german trance and ambient form the same time period too, a load of fax/pete namlook, harthouse stuff etc.

I bought the Bleep Sampler a few days ago. Lovely tracks on there, very post-dubsteppy a lot of it.

I don't have the funds for album buying at the moment, but I've been sampling tracks from Bleep and iTunes until I can splurge on some serious album buying.

I've bought selected tracks from: Distance, Vex'd, and Milanese

I did buy all of Point Line Cloud by Curtis Roads a couple weeks back.

My recent purchase has been Klaus Schulze La Vie Electronique Volumes 1 & 2. Each volume has 3 discs with recordings from 1969 to 1975. Amazing stuff!

I'm one of those weird vinyl people so I tend to buy up old shit that I had on tape or cds and some new shit here and there.

This months I decided I needed

Fad Gadget - Fireside Favourites
Fad Gadget - Under the Flag
Fad Gadget - Incontinent
Fad Gadget - Gag
Scraping Foetus Off the Wheel - Nail
Tones on Tail - The Album Pop
Love and Rockets - Earth Sun Moon
This Mortal Coil - End in Tears
Fever Ray - Self Titled ( My favorite new album in a long time)

There's more I just cant remember them!

I need to quit spending so much money on records!!! Those Fad Gadget records were not cheap, but I just couldn't imagine not having them any longer!

Polyphonic Size: Saison 1979-1982.

A huge splurge, but totally worth it.
