Hello -
I own a Module A-151 (Quad Sequential Switch). My question is -
is it alright to trigger the switch at an audio rate ? Say triggering it with a 440khz square wave. Is there a limit to how fast it can be triggered ? Or to want type of signal should be used to trigger ?
thanks
jjr

the manual says"do it".It can switch very fast.

the manual even gives you an example how to create new waveforms by clocking it with audio signals.

I ordered one,still waiting cool

Yep, in this case it's gonna be the I/O circuitry that limits the bandwidth -- not the logic chip. CMOS chips are very fast, but you typically need a high speed input comparator, voltage protection, and high speed output buffer to take full advantage of it.

I know the seq switch can go well into audio rate! Not sure its upper limits though.

For Video:

I had it running to an LZX VWG Output and it was almost solid lights twitching.

I found it works better to run off a stack of an LFO that you are using for Freq Modulation on the VWG.
