My friend used to think the song "Pure Massacre" by Silver Chair was "Use MasterCard."

Marvin Gaye - Sexual Healing
I had 'I can't wait for you to operate' wrong in my head as 'I can't wait for you to ovulate'.

Also Rod Stewart Maggie May 'all you did was wreck my bed' as 'all you did was red my bed'.

not a song but as a kid always thought "trying to make ends meet" as end's meat, I suppose similar, seemed disgusting, even though I knew even in my weird context it was an expression.
Hence, I haven't eaten any meat in 20 years.

I was around 8 years old when Blondie's "Heart Of Glass" came out.

As a kid I thought the part where Debbie Harry sang,

"Yeah, riding high on love's true bluish light" was actually: "Yeah, riding high I know it's just a jewish lie". Which is especially ironic given the background of Ms. Harry's co-writer. lol

I'll have to revisit this thread, as I know I used to do this loads, but I have one example of my own.

Thought 'Bold as Love' by Hendrix was 'Bo Lesnar' when I first got the album at 14 years of age.

Also, my friend thought the lyrics to Metallica's cover of Blitzkrieg was 'Lettuce and peas, lettuce and rice, let us escape the cruel night' which I thought was fucking hilarious.

That's the classic! Extra points if you sing it with a hissy lisp.

Not exactly mistaken, but we used to sing a long to Living Colour's "These memories can't wait" (a Talking Heads cover) with "These mammaries can't wait"... oh the hilarity hihi
