From Schneiders in Berlin: THE MODULE IS TEMPORARILY OUT OF PRODUCTION waah

Nobody knows if it's just a matter of time? Or need I to find it in the sell/trade subforum?

Another question, I already own a Doepfer quadADSR but I'm intrigued by this module, better buy 2 in any case?

the envelator is fanatastic, especially in a pair.

I can't talk on behalf of Malekko but I imagine that the module is being tweaked to correct the Dmod vulnerability issue, and the fact that the fix previously offered affects the Dmod normalisation, which is documented in several threads.

I have 2 x A-140's and then I bought an Envelator and I use both - but always seem to go to the Envelator first although I wouldn't get rid of the A-140's though - I use both of these extensively).

It is A/D and A/R but also has some neat tricks if you read the 'manual' (see Malekko forum - tons of stuff on this). .

If they were available - and if I had any space left - I would certainly go for a second one. . . thumbs up

My suggestion is to try the S/T forum, since it's unknown when they will be available again. I was fortunate enough to buy two little before they were out of stock, but I needed a third one and when I saw it at S/T I quickly grabbed it. It's a DMOD-sensitive issue but I just avoid using the DMOD in that particular Envelator, at least until I find someone to help me fix it.

Ok, ther's no hurry so I can wait for a while, they're not on the top of my needs but they're in my wish list so sooner or later.. Hope that Malekko can fix that little problem! Everybody needs an envelator, or 2..

Thanks!

I think you're cool as long as you don't use a stackable on the input. I had a couple go haywire before the issue was figured out. Once it was figured out, I was too lazy to send mine in for modification, but so far, avoiding stackables on that input, I've had no problems. My cheap generic cables, short doepfer blacks and ad-infinitum cables have all been fine and caused no problems on any of my three unmodded envelators.

Thanks, that's good to know. I only have stackables and Doepfer cables, so I'll just be careful not to use the stackcables with it.

Thanks for the offer. Is this the greatest forum ever or what?

Uunfortunately, shipping costs really kill the deal. I had to send my dotcom Q119 sequencer for repairs and the round shipping costs may be up to $150 (!!!).

It's not a serious issue, anyway, and I work in the Electronics department of the local public university, so I'm sure I can find someone to do the job for me.
