Is there any place online (US) to buy the recent stuff in a lossless format, specifically the new generators, but really any of the more recent kfw? I see much of it on amazon... but I would prefer lossless downloads over cd or lp
edit: that vid is fantastic, i'm really enjoying the recent stuff |

I'm really digging this album. Not familiar enough with the Generators series to say if this is "definitive" (but if Keith says it is I'll take his word for it) but it's certainly amazing. Love how, despite what must be an impossibly complex system, he's still able to make music out of it that is emotionally engaging and goes far beyond being merely "interesting". The two sides are worlds apart sonically...for me Side 1 is more like the opening act and Side 2 is the blowaway, but they're both great in their own way. It's only February, but I bet this will make a lot of "Best of 2012" lists. |

hey guys ; thanks (as always) for the support !!! here's a short clip of a quad performance i gave in nantes back in february for the cable#5 festival ... there's an lp coming out on editions mego in late may / early june of this set (in its entirety) & one from a week later in amsterdam ; very happy with this music, definitely getting closer & closer to the exact sound i had in mind when i started working with modulars a decade ago ...

I think to me, more important than his music (which I dearly love), has been his incredible digging and championing of a sort of counter-canon (or maybe just shadow world) of electronic music, through creel pone and his other activities.
This type of effort also strikes me as a paramount part of being an artist.
I know I've learned a great deal about records and sound makers that I would have never found without him. _________________ http://www.bluxomepoint.com
