| Might as well add that I'd be in for a crossfader PCB and a dual panel. Great designs as always to both Clarke and J3RK! |

Slightly OT, but I'm possibly interested in a few Crossfader PCBs.
3" is 15HP, and I like parallel-mounting my PCBs working multiples of 14HP if I can help it.
So, I'm wondering what else I could partner with 2 or 3 crossfader PCBs to make a 28HP panel of the sort of circuits that would be used in every patch. |

one dual for me please? (and one VC Mixer (S-1) panel)
yes I'd be interested in a couple of crossfader PCBs as well...
thanks for making this! _________________

J3RK is still on board for his X-Fade PCB!
Here's a couple of panel designs I worked up last night for the dedicated Crossfader. These will get their own thread when it's time to order, but I thought I'd give a preview here and see if anyone has any feedback on the design. The idea was to do a full-featured Crossfader in 8HP, and then a more svelte version in 4HP:

Let me know what you think!

| Would a knob for attenuation of the FADE CV IN be more useful than the MIX INV OUT? Control of the range of modulation of the Crossfade is quite important. |

I like the idea, just because I know I'd use an input attenuator on the CV In, and I don't know how I'd use an inverted out. On the other hand, I can attenuate a CV signal with at least 3 different modules in my system, but I have no idea how I'd invert the output if I wanted to.
Anybody else have thoughts about this? |

the inverted output on this is the channels flipped?
for example, so instead of Left-Right you get Right-Left?
it might be nice to have an ALL IN (one jack going to both VCA1 & VCA2) jack or at least normal VCA 1 to VCA 2 on the bigger version so that it can be used as a panner as well. nice to be able to go either direction. this thing is DC coupled right?
sorry for all of the questions, maybe there needs to be a crossfader thread. |

I already have both attenuators and inverters in my system, but would probably use a built-in attenuator 95% of the time. I'd be happy patching up an inverted output when needed. |

I'm for a crossfader thread. I'll start one shortly. I was holding out until the test boards show up soon, but we can move the discussion to a new one.
The inverted output is just inverted phase. Not one channel to the other. |
