Count me in for a future run, or any possible extras. Or if anyone changed their mind, I'll buy the face + board off you.

Love the feedback demo, Rico!

Got my board and panel today. I'll be building it up this weekend and it'll be the first time I've done anything with SMT. Here's hoping my hands are steady enough.

Seems Mouser is out of all the colors with the exception of red...Anyone else know where to get these 60mm led sliders?

I'm not going to do any of this from my phone, but here's what my personal strategy would be re: finding sliders. Take the original Bourns part # from the page @ Mouser and punch that in at Digikey, Farnell, etc. and see who else has some in stock. Bourns products are widely stocked, there must be other vendors.

Found some 15mm center detents on mouser...Are these cool to use with this module? I'm just wondering if the extra 4mm makes that big of a difference. Seeing that I don't have the fattest fingers in the world I'm not really sure it will.

depending what leds color your using on yr fader determines what size resistor to ise. read thru the thread most of it covered throughout. i used red and grean, i think i used 2.2k for red and 1,8k for green...my greens are brighter than my reds though so i prob should have used a diff value

Also, it is a typo on Ken's BOM for the quantify of the 10n capacitors. I only see 4 in the circuit.

Not all of the styrenes available at Mouser will fit flush to the PCB surface between the other components - but they will all fit rather well if you don't mind them sitting on top of some resistors here and there. I've been building them with the upper 8 bands in styrene and the lower 2 in polypropylene.

If you check the photos in the OP you can see how they're installed. thumbs up

What's the "original" post?

It's the first post. You can see some semi-translucent tubes nestled above the resistors on the board. Those are polystyrenes.

I hope someone can let me know whether I need to do some troubleshooting on mine. When I have all the 'L' sliders at minimum I still have signal at the lower comb output. It's the same when I have all the 'U' sliders at minimum: signal is present on the upper comb output. Is this the expected behavior? To my ears, both upper and lower comb outputs sound very similar, if not exactly the same. The main output sounds the same as the upper/lower but at a lower level. So do I need to start looking for solder bridges and checking component values?
