Is the MFB Kraftzwerg compatible with eurorack voltages?

i.e. can I plug the oscillator and other outs directly into eurorack modules (and vice versa) without amplifying them?

Yep. There are just a few MFB "quirks". First, the LFOs reset on the falling slope of a trigger, so if you want it to be in time, you'll need to invert the trigger. The oscillators are pretty quiet, especially in triangle mode. Taking the individual outs seems to be a little louder. The envelopes need a pretty strong signal to trigger. I've had to boost or use a comparator to get it to gate with some sources. Other than that, its pretty great. I love mine, and I don't think I'd likely sell it. The LFOs and triple oscillator are worth it alone.

the kraftzwerg is eurorack, just mounted in a funny plastic box.

multiples are not exactly wasted space
and you can buy longer flatcables

and it fits in a skiff

Those weren't really complaints so much as FYI. The ribbons could easily be solved by getting a flying busboard cable. And the holes for the mult are empty. If I could DIY, I would make some. Or even put in a passive ring mod or something like that.

My modular is primarily for sound processing and I was thinking of getting the desktop Kraftzwerg as a "companion synth". It's mainly for the oscillator outs but the other modules will be useful as well.

Have to be in a while though, building a modular quickly does not do the bank balance any good!
