Yes.
The Triadex Muse is indeed strange. After playing with the Muse for almost 12years now I am still no closer to actually knowing how the thing works... A mystery.
I am however in the process of using its crazy sequencer output to drive a robot guitar! Obscure riffs! |

The Muse IS weird. I have one on long term loan from a friend. Kind of a 1 trick pony. I'd love to be able to send and receive clock and create envelopes for it. It's full sustain all the time and the thing's tone generator is dead plain. Sounds nice with filtering/wave shaping/fx etc _________________ http://pearlartsstudios.com/tsr/

| 5v gates come out of the 9 pin molex connector under the Muse. Im using this to control my other gear. Very wierd rhythms come from within. I can make you a cable... |

Been trying to research those Taishogotos. My understanding is they were inspired by the quite similar imported Indian bulbul tarang instruments during the Emperor Taisho era of the 1920s. So eventually it was first electrified with pickups and later made all electronic. I asked a friend if the all electronic ones were common and the answer is no. I've yet to see an all electronic one in a shop and I've seen lots of odd stuff for sale. The eBay guy, I think his user name is thugginway must be putting out or reading classified ads or knows some music school. My guess is the all electronic ones are really to cut down noise, sort of the opposite goal of an electrified one. Though some seem to be pretty fancy ones often made by Suzuki, the company behind the omnicord. perhaps people with more money want more sounds though I don't see much in the way of parameters so they fall into the big home music market I guess. _________________ http://nickkent.net

| i've been watching for a kalimba with a pickup in it for a while. they are around cheap enough online, but i'd like to be able to play with a couple in person and pick one that resonates with me, no pun intended. |

Pity the shipping is more than the instrument. Just have to consider it as part of the overall cost.. |
