I'd love to get on the re-order list for 1 panel + 1 sub-board.
Really excited to build this one. _________________ Lapin |

Thanks Low-Gain ! These pics are really helpful.
The power distro makes alot more sense to me now.
One question. Do you think the Euro power would still have enough clearance if i used a Right Angle .156" Header on the RES EQ Board ? _________________ http://soundcloud.com/cleaninglady

| Am I crazy for wanting to re-wire a module after seeing someone else's clean work? |

Low-gain, if you haven't tried it yet, the EQ sounds really nice fed-back into its self as a drone machine.
Clarke, if/when you do another run i will probably grab one as well. _________________ DIY panels and PCBs for Buchla and Euro format: http://synthpanels.blogspot.de/

I am building the RES EQ with Polystyrene Caps to try and get the sound quality up to highest possible spec.
Anyone have an opinion on whether it's also worth dropping some $$$ on some OPA2134 op amps instead of the TL072's or LF353's to keep the quality up there ? _________________ http://soundcloud.com/cleaninglady

| Low-Gain: Nice build, what's your reasoning behind having connectors for the 5 pins but the not three in the middle? I have yet to wire it all up and when I do it might make sense. |

I can't answer for Low-Gain but i reckon the two headers coming from the pads on the CGS202 to the Sub Board would just be so the board could be separated without desoldering.
The middle three wires on the Sub Board are providing power to the CGS202 Board ; that power enters via the Euro Header on the sub board.
No header on the Sub Board in this case just takes one more non-soldered mechanical connection in the Power Buss out of the equation.
Again the Header on the CGS202 Power Input would be to keep it separatable.
How does that sound ? It's just my take on it of course. _________________ http://soundcloud.com/cleaninglady

the spacing of the power connections on the sub board aren't centered the same as the 5 pins.. if they were I probably would have. I think they were likewise too far spaced on the 2 other wires too. If they were spaced the same as the 5 pin, i guess i could have put them on a header as well. No biggy though. Just wanted to keep it as clean as possible. _________________ -]|- Low-Gain Electronics -|[-
