....is FUCKING awesome. Just saying.
Sorry, no viddy or audio.
Respect to Tom and Rick on this killer combo. Try it if you've got 'em.
I've got an all Pitt Mod (except for a Maths) Tabla thing going.
I'll leave it up and try and record tomorrow.

Here's a taste, sorry for the delay.
Self generating, make an adjustment, let it ride, repeat.....
The trick is to slow down the Generator by patching 1 into itself with the attenuverter input.
Sorry about the uploaded audio file, I didn't feel like shooting a video or making a soundcloud page for this.

22 downloads and no comments?
Anyone digging this combo?
The patch is still up, I'll record more later.

that was awesome! love the range of sounds from the more plonky to the textured FM. Some great rhythmic changes in there too, very expressive. Can you elaborate on the patch a bit more? Is it just those three modules?

Those are some really interesting rhythms and sounds, thanks for posting the audio up Soy Sos! thumbs up

So, are you using the square wave from the Generator to clock the Timetable, and the outputs of the Timetable to modulate the Generator? Interested to know more about the patch too. Mr. Green

Thanks all, here goes, I'll try and explain this patch a little.
GenXpander BAD (OE) out to clock in on the Timetable
GenXpander GEN1 SQUARE out to CV in on Timetable
TimeTable B + C out to 2 channels on the Maths as envelope
to 2 channels on the Dual Index to PGH Filter then Analog Delay
The 2 percussion voices are 2 PGH Oscillators
One FM'd with noise the other with another Generator
Timetable CV 1, 2 + 3 to Oscillator pitch and filter frequency

That that make any sense?

There no absolutely set way to get this patch going.
The trick is to slow down the Generator enough with cross modulation
to create rhythm from the divided clocks on the Timetable.
I love these kind of patches and you can use any combination of outputs
to sources to no end of variations. Please post your results with the Generator and any clock divider you might have. Don't worry about square waves from the Generator, there's plenty in there to trigger shit.

Another on, exact same patch.
Different settings, a bunch of crazy crap.

I was thinking about buying a generator, this demo convinced me that this unit is not for me, to radical sounds.

Thanks for the audio clips Soy Sos.

lol I think Soy Sos is actually using the Generator more as a timer in this patch & the actual sound is coming from other VCOs - which are being heavily FM'd.

Really great patch Soy Sos applause love the blurred lines between rhythm & tone. Using the BAD outputs to clock the TT, with the CV outs modding the Generators is a really interesting idea. Of course any of the waveforms will clock the TimeTable (just about) so no need to stick with just square.

Thanks for the audio clips Soy Sos.

Yes, to be clear, the Generator plus GenXpander is providing the timing to the Timetable. The 2 "voices" are FM'd Oscillators CV'd by the Timetable.
