Fairly easy to mod
Each 4017 has a diode to reset after a certain count.
The diodes are on (from L to R) Q7, Q8, Q6, Q5
Leave these diodes out and all of the 4017s will now count to 10 rather than resetting after the lower values that Ken has designed them to do.
The second mod involves cutting tracks. All of the 4017s are driven by the same clock signal, leave the track to the 1st one, make sure it still has the 100k to ground. With the other three cut the track near their pin 14s (clock input), then solder jumpers to one of the outputs of the other 4017 chips to get a clock signal.
bugger it here's a pic
I have given no thought as to which divisions you want, thats up to you. You can leave out some of the diodes that give the /2, /3, /4 counts to adjust and get the divisions you require. _________________ nonlinearcircuits

Maybe stick a CGS VC Divider inbetween the Tap Clock & Pulse Divider.
That way you'll have a pot (and CV input) to decide where the pulses make teh beatz, I'm assuming you want them in or around the same region as the Plan B is spitting out?
I'd use a few 4018 programmable dividers, these could be set up with switches to decide if the Pulse Divider is running at twice or half the speed of the tap clock, but it depends on how DIY you want to get. |

You could AND some divisions together to get longer divisions,
or you could choose a different Divider.
The Blacet FD3120 *new* Frequency Divider can do extremely long divisions on one channel,
and is a well thought ought and easy to build unit. _________________ http://soundcloud.com/decay-generator
