The manual says "This records with good quality, a 2 second record length". With 2MB of memory I'm guessing this could be a typo.
While searching I found this comment from Tony "I just made a 34 second recording with Vari-Speed at around 60% The quality is not great, but it is definitely 34 seconds long." and a few posts suggesting 24 bit resolution.
Anyone have more information on sample time / bit depth? |

two seconds sounds reasonable, if you want to record in a decent resolution. Longer samples can get quite grainy and lo-fi. Especially below 50%
I usually use it together with a lp filter to get rid of the high frequency noise that is introduced with longer recordings. But beats or speech samples work ok even with longer recordings
Don't know anything about the bit depth _________________ www.soundcloud.com/nq_nhlsqaik

2MB = 2 seconds? Really?
The manual says maximum sample rate is 88.2 kHz, so at 24 bit resolution it should do at least 7 seconds.
Maybe it does 92 bit sampling. |
