With all the Belew and Fripp fans around here, I'm surprised that more Wigglers aren't big fans of David Torn. I discovered him right about the time that "Cloud About Mercury" was released (mid 80s, still my favorite Torn album). Other standout recordings include "Polytown", "What Means Solid, Traveller?", "Prezens" and "Levin Torn White". Check that shit out!

New guy here. From guitar background. I've hit the wall with that instrument.

I saw that a few mentioned Blixa Bargeld.

Rowland S. Howard, Daniel Ash and Mick Jones(Clash) and a wee bit of Tom Morello do it for me.

I'm sort of obsessed with Oliver Ackerman at the moment though.
