True it is totally different when you hit the input really hot,
but I like boosting the output, so I like the TM-7 at the end and a cleanboost in front.
The TM-7 is definitly one of my top 5 pieces of gear. I treat it like an amp, everything goes into it.
Ideally it would be cool to have a TM-5 driving the TM-1 then have the
TM-6 after, and a TM-7 at the end.
Dream come true option number 2 would be to have the TM-7 driving the TM-1, then have the TX-2 at the end to use its filter and crazy DEATH distortion giving the final smack on the ass on the way to the mixer.
Im going to mess with the resonator today at the end,
but in my experience solid state stuff doesnt sound as good at the end as it does in front.
Ive tried the Sherman, the boombox cleanboost(well thats supposed to go in front eheh),fuzzes, alienator, pretty much everything, and it always seems to sound better before than at the end.
Since I havent had the resonator as long I'll try it again today
So after the TM-3, a TM-6 would really be a great link between the TM-1 and TM-7.
So tell me yellow lovers, what do you like to put at the end of your TM-1
Sound samples too if your up to it _________________ |zerosuminertia.com| |

Agreed, I don't like to put anything after them unless it is more tubes
My tm-1 is usually followed by one of the TM filters, or one of the TX units, that's just about it really! _________________ "I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down." |

| I agree about the resonator , it's kicks ass in front of the TM-1. I need to put mine back together. I've obtained some pretty cool effects by driving the S-1000's waveshaper with the TM-1. It's difficult to tame , however. Of course , driving the filter or VCA is cool. I just realized that I haven't tried patching it into an FM input of the TM-3 or S-1000. I've got to try that when I get home from work. Anyway , I finally ordered a TM-7 today. It should come just in time for my vasectomy { no joke }. |

| For me, the TM-1 is the only effects box I use between my synths before recording...then I add plugins later. |
