This is amazingly cool! Showing the knob settings is super handy.
Just in my first few minutes of checking it out -
a way to delete modules may be helpful (only because I goofed and added the wrong module, maybe this wouldn't be necessary for those who save a proper XML file *once* for their system)(or if this is a feature already there and I am not seeing it please excuse)
I can't get over 88HP and 2 rows. My case is 90 HP and 3 rows...
a generic module sounds smart instead of doing vector art for the infinite number of modules one might want to include. Could the HP be variable? Or maybe there could be a few sizes... Is there a way it could have a few jacks and knobs one could label? Or maybe just a few jacks as placeholders for patch cables with an area to write notes on the panel area (e.g. "VWG sine to input, attn 75%; LFO triangle to CV, attn 30%, ect...)
The "droop amount" slider makes me happy. |

You can do that by dragging a module off of the rack.
Deleting cables is still a little annoying, I'm working on improving that.

The idea behind this initially was just to be for documenting small patches for illustrations, so I didn't really plan ahead very well as far as the use-case of users building their system inside it and then using it like that. That said! I want to improve that, and adding a 90hp option is easy.
If I put some time into it, I should be able to have the whole patch area take place in a scrollable/zoomable pane, so you could add as many rows and as much width as you wanted in that case.

I could easily move all the modules to an XML save/load structure as well, and do a separate "module builder" app, but that's a project for another day really. If anyone wants the original Flash source files, I'm happy to provide them if you want to add more modules.
I think labeling like you suggest is the way to go for external patchpoints though! Just drag a cable off of the rack and have an option at that point to type in a name for the external connection. _________________ LZX Industries | http://www.lzxindustries.net |

Having fun with this. Plus one for the over 88hp. I have a goikes 6u at 104hp. Being able to document my patches for this rig would be amazing. Thanks for making this Lars. _________________ www.joylessrapture.tumblr.com |

Are y'all running into any resolution issues?
I will add a zoom in/out feature at some point, but for now the simplest way to add extra HP is to just increase the width of the overall interaction (pixel-wise.) _________________ LZX Industries | http://www.lzxindustries.net |

Okay guys, I've updated to allow a maximum of 104HP. Hope this helps, let me know if there are any other issues. _________________ LZX Industries | http://www.lzxindustries.net |
