Those sliders bring back fond memories of my all-time favourite sampler, the Akai S612. But with CV control of endpoints - that makes my mind explode. Nice...

Cheers

...and don't forget the sp1200 faders too! Speaking of samplers, can you play a sample chromatically like you can with the Asys RS290?

it has CV in for the frequency, as did the mk1, but IIRC the mk1 doesn't track 1v/octave. I haven't heard anything on this version yet though

it was a random demo video of the MK1 i saw a year or 2 ago that introduced me into the world of the modular and gave me the modular crack addiction!

Same here grin That module was single-handedly responsible for my conversion into eurorack zealot.

I'm buying this INSTANTLY. The money is burning a MKII-sized hole in my pocket.

I'll also be buying this immediately.

Curious what the V2 Sound of Thunder looks like. Also curious about the scaling of pitch shift CV inputs.

It looks like FORMAT refers to the playback bit depth format, 8bit, 12bit, 16bit etc

Thanks Sam. Yeah after staring at that key there I see what you mean.

This SoT is a completely different thing than the current SoT. I never have figured the current one out.

Hmm... Will the original SOT work with the new Tyme Sefari? If so, can they both be connected at once?
Which bends have been excluded on the new SOT (if any of them are the same)?

The module is at the factory right now and will be in stores before the end of the month.

The old SOT will work on the new TS, but the opposite is probably not true. the four "bend" actions are similar but not identical to the original model. I am almost out of toggle switches so the SOT will go into production in December when I have more. In the meantime you can enable some of the expansion modes by either using an old-model SOT or using jumpers to connect pins on the expansion header together.
