Based on the response so far it's safe to say the run will happen for sure, but I won't start taking orders until the quote comes back...so you've got a few days to decide.
Of course you know...you're going to want both! _________________ DIY Euro synth panels: Synthcube in the US | Thonk in the UK

I think so...then you'd have two knobs that do the same thing, but operate "backwards" from each other. |
I was thinking that the graphics would be simplified.
Then, do you think it might be better to have the knobs go from Sine to Saw/Square (ie simple to complex wave)?

Any chance there will be a separate Euro panel just for the middle section of the "Mutant"? Some people doing this build may not want/need another dual VCO, and I definitely would want the wave mangler to add to this... |

I would certainly do it if there were enough interest...the trouble with a dedicated Timbre/Mod Index module (in Euro anyway) is the PCB is the same size as the 258J VCO, so 26hp is the smallest it could be. _________________ DIY Euro synth panels: Synthcube in the US | Thonk in the UK

Well, if the PCB were mounted on standoffs parallel behind the boards for this build, the Timbre/Mod panel could be treated as a "breakout" and be much smaller. This would only fly if enough people were interested in doing it, obviously, but it is a possibility. |

Hey, that's a clever idea. We should probably take this conversation over to the Timbre/Mod Index PCB thread, but I could see that catching on. _________________ DIY Euro synth panels: Synthcube in the US | Thonk in the UK
