I don't have the funds for album buying at the moment, but I've been sampling tracks from Bleep and iTunes until I can splurge on some serious album buying.

I've bought selected tracks from: Distance, Vex'd, and Milanese

I just bought the rest of the two Distance albums, and bought a couple tracks from Boxcutter. I generally prefer buying hard copy albums, but given my finances, this is working out well enough to satisfy my need for new music.

July / August purchases:

Pimmon - Smudge Another Yesterday

Robert Hood - Minimal nation
Subway - II
Conrad Schnitzler - Gelb
Emeralds - What happened
Biosphere - Wireless
Mika Vainio - Black telephone of matter
Mordant Music - Picking o'er the bones

Can't believe how great the 'On' album is and I can't believe I heard it on the radio for the first time (any fan of Deathprod should pick this up). There's still hope for radio yet Guinness ftw!

Tubes - Remote Control (CD - classic heavy synth riff
opening... total Todd Rungren Production... almost sounds
like Utopia 1977 p.s. just saw them last month, very tight!)

Melvins - King Buzzo (CD - second copy... two industrial
drones, maybe SK-1 loops plus the only pretty Melvins
song ever and Skeeter... too funny!)

Jon Hassell - Earthquake Island (CD - finally released
from 1979... trumpet through Harmonizer and Arp Omni
w/ unique backing lineup - Miroslav Vituous, etc.)

Richard Pinhas - Chronolyse (CD - 1/2 Live Moog modular
lines and sequences - 1/2 Heldon band w/ Mellotron, Moog,
ARP 2600 & sequencers) I need to create a thread dedicated
to this guys music. Unknown in the USA for sure. He/they
were very prolific in the 70's & early 80's.

Russia - (LP - first album from 70's rock band)
