Guitar 2 MIDI for cheap?!

Post by dkcg » Sat Nov 21, 2009 6:00 pm

Anyone have or try one? Saw some demos on youtube that were impressive, even a basson to midi. Would also be a great way to record analog sequences to midi if it works well and is fast enough.

I have one, but haven't played much with it yet. It doesn't track as well as a dedicated guitar synth and you can only play one note at a time, but it's inexpensive and, I think, worth the price despite its limitations.

I tried one and was very unimpressed with the tracking. It didn't track much better than my old Slavedriver P>V converter from the 70s. My suggestion would be to save up for an Axon or Roland and a GK3.
