Dual Power Starvation & Muscle Sensing look AMAZING!

Time to start flexing muscles again... cool.

Just a thought; might not some modules take harm in being starved?
Devilwidget
I hate ADDAC. Everything they release is too good. I am tempted to go up a U just to accommodate a whole row of them.
adolfgottmann
enlighten me please: that power starvation module has to be connected to other modules via chain cable in the back? Not really flexible isn't it?

MY ASS IS BLEEDING

Euro Power Starve! Who wuda thought?...
matttech
what effect would THAT have on things?? hmmm.....

If the geeetar world, power starves are used to great effect on fuzz, od, and other drive pedals. It's usually referred to as "the dying battery sound".

Other effects that can "benefit" from this technique are analog delays and delay based effects.

It would be interesting to see what power starving euro modules would do...

power starvation is a classic trick performed on stompboxes...the idea is to change the behaviour of components by lowering the voltage as in a agonizing battery

this way you can make some extreme fx like the classic "velcro fuzz" sound

pedals like the zvex fuzz factory and ehx germanium overdrive got this control onboard and it´s a great way to get the beast out of this things

my technical knowledge is very limited so I´m a bit concern too about starving a module

could anybody with more experience explain why this module would be safe to use?

Power starving an all analog module would be 100% safe, not sure about some digital ones... But starving a Plague Barer sounds SUPER FUN.

Yes, very much looking forward to some demos of this Eel Power FTW!

Under voltage shouldn't break anything, just cause it to misbehave.
I assume this would be connected to an individual module and not a whole power bus, but perhaps not.

Over voltage could break stuff.

I've often wondered why no one had tried this in Euro...

I would assume this module works as a sort of power hub, where you plug the desired torture victim into one of the two expansion busses on the back, where the pots on the front restrict the outgoing current?

Too bad there is no voltage control over the positive and negative resistance hihi

applause Nice!

Still waiting for a filter... Pretty please!

does it apply to digital stuff too?
digidandy
Are these out now? Or "coming some time soon"?
rasseru
Will it work across the whole busboard like my whole patch is melting ? Fucking ace if so (and safe)

SERIOUSLY... Did you guys know you can get Addac in SILVER from THEM?
subultresk
Power starvation and muscle sensing - … Wow! Some new directions!

The "floor"-modules are very appreciated! w00t
