hit me I'm a noob

can I skip the 13600 ? what does it do, I do'nt understand.
the second half of the 13600 is not used at all.

can I skip the MAX365 switches for a normal switch ?

I expected a simple filter but the this filter looks too complicated for what it does.

anyone interested in 2 pcb's ?
BananaPlug
Um, did you read the manual?
http://www.blacet.com/DFmanualBasic.pdf
If you bought the kit you should have gotten a schematic too.

Why not just build it as is? Probably simpler than simplifying it. hmmm.....

How much are they? Any trades?
gribus
yes I got the schematic, after the sale Mr. Green
There will be good reason to use 18 opamps, one 13600, two max365, for two filters with no CV.
The phase uncertainty circuit
looks interesting though, but there is no further explanation of it.
I was more thinking of passive filters with makeup amps and inverter, summing the two filters.

I got two pcb's with all the pots, and doublepots , black with blue knobs still sealed. That's 4 filters,
and documents with schematic and bom.

Somehow the phase trick has never seemed very noticeable to me. The fact that there is an input level control and the filter has lots of Q is usually enough for managing levels. I usually don't need more gain. I have no idea how you'll be using this but you might want to get the board stuffed and try it out before you make final decisions about what else to add or change. These filters are lot of fun.
gribus
I do not see how gain interacts with the phase modulation.
Phase modulation can only be heard when one input feeds two parallel filters, then listen to two outputs, mono or stereo,
there should be a modulation between these two outputs.
Or adjust the trimmer as in the manual stated, to make the modulation deeper.

anyway, no info found on this behavior,

Sorry, I didn't mean it that way. I was just commenting on those things separately. I should try adjusting that trimpot though.

yes i like to sell two Blacet dual SVF DF2420 pcb's.

Don't know what I paid or what to ask for this

you need to have contributed to the forum for a while (100 posts) before you're allowed to offer things for sale here.

Looks like they've been here a while longer than ~2/3 of the other members!

I have sympathy for gribus. The 100 posts rule is an imperfect but well meaning defense against... well, lot's of things. On the other hand I've seen plenty of pointless posts from people grinding their way to the 100 mark. Oh well.

Those are nice little filters. Somebody should build them. seriously, i just don't get it
gribus
o.k.

I'll give away :

two Blacet dual SVF DF2420 pcb's.
with all the pots, and doublepots , black with blue knobs, all sealed.
