Input needed for the next DIY module to go on sale |
br>mmm |
br>The AES presentation is over, My two days of recovering from a head cold are over and the PCB place that should have had the Gate Delay boards to me yesterday received an earful from me and the boards will be here Monday. Squeeky wheel syndrome?
That leaves the open question...
What would you like to see for the next DIY module sale?
So far, the suggestions lean heavily toward the Amplitude Follower.
Which is a typical Envelope Follower. I just didn't think that the term Envelope follower is an accurate description of the function. One of my quirks, I guess.
Same deal on that as well. It was one of the last boards I designed and didn't get a lot of them so, I don't have the "full production" version with the solder mask and silk screen. If there's enough interest, I can have it done.
Suggestions?

LMAO,
Yup. Would you like an Amplitude Follower Sandy?
Hey, if you order all 10 of those, I can get the pretty PCB's made

br>For those of you considering it,
I'll do the Amplitude Follower the same way I did the Gate Delay.
All the info is the same except the model and ordering part # is AF for Amplitude Follower instead of GD for Gate Delay. The 'B', 'K' and power cable preferences are still the same. Sale price is the same.
Just the circuit and parts are different.
I'll take pre-orders before I officially announce it on Tuesday. If we have enough, I'll order the full production boards. If not, function over form

Hi Luka.
I'm not quite sure I understand the question.
If you check out the main module description:
http://mmm.sevcom.com/wiki/index.php/Amplitude_Follower
The text describes the I/O functions.
There is a pre amp.
A red LED comes on when the signal level (post pre amp) reaches 5VDC.
What did you have in mind?

Technically, the sale isn't official until tomorrow. But, I'll take orders now.
My focus right now is getting the Gate delays finished. They'll be done tomorrow morning.

br>It's official,
Starting now until midnight, March 03, I'd like to put the Amplitude Follower (Envelope Follower) on sale. But, I only have a couple of boards left unless we do the same routine, if there's enough interest and I get 10 orders, I'll have to order the boards (with the silkscreen and solder mask)
But, A couple of you can get the existing boards right away. They just don't have the solder mask and silkscreen. Not really an issue if it's mounted behind a panel in a cabinet 8_)
Same prices and info as the Gate Delay:
AF1B= Amplitude Follower assembled/tested board only= $64.95
AF1K= Above board with the WK-10A wire kit and power cable of choice=$80.95
To specify which power cable you'd prefer, suffix the AF1K with a -6(6P-6P power cable), -4(4P-4P power cable) or a -E (4P-Euro power cable)
So, the full kit with a 4-pin to Euro-style power connector would be:
AF1K-E
Once again. This is a MW-only offer so, you'll have to PayPal me direct to my PayPal account:
mattsonminimodular(at)comcast.net (at)=@
Please don't use my shopping cart, it won't reflect the sale price and shipping charges correctly.
US shipping add $4.95 for up to every four boards.
Everywhere else, add $13.50 for up to every four boards.
If you missed out on the previous sales, I'll honor those until March 03 as well. Put me to work
I didn't get to the Post office before they closed but, all of the remaining orders are ready to send in the morning.
Thanks guys,
