.div with LFOs

Post by oneano » Thu Mar 05, 2015 6:26 pm

I use a doepfer quad lfo as my main clock and have no issues with it with any modules.

Can I use it with the .div module and get the expected results?

My .div is not really picky about what it divides, an LFO will be fine. everything works as you would expect and I've had no troubles triggering things with it.

While the .DIV was designed to operate with 0-5V signals, the input protection on it will allow it to work with audio as long as it's +/-5Vpp.

Another question about .div . Is it possible to divide gate signals by .div? it's mean longer signals than trigger.

the output gate length is equal to the input gate length, so you can use any gate signal longer than 1/20,000th of a second or so in length.
