Hey STG,
Can the sync buss be brought out to a 1/8" panel with clock and reset? The Reset is more important and I know I can get the reset from the Graphic Seq Output 1 but it resets after 8 steps and I just want that Reset that Sync 24 generates at the start of my computer seq.
Thanks,

yeah actually you could do that. Scot Solida has a Time Buffer with 1/4" jacks on it so he could use a freeware DIN sync AU.
i'm sorry i haven't returned your email from last week, i was very busy. i'll try to get to that today. _________________ http://suitandtieguy.com

Well I'm trying it myself:
The purple wire is doing reset and the black wire is clock. I don't know what the red is for. I would have thought the black was ground but no. I thought these two would be enough but if I send one to an A160 reset and trigger the A160 goes dead. I can't seem to make any combo of wires as main and lead let both be used on the same module. If I send the trigger to the A160 and the reset to another module they both work right.
Any help would be aprreciated.

the pinout for the sync connector is
pin 1: ground
pin 2: 24 ppq clock
pin 3: run/stop gate
i'm pretty sure the pins are labeled on the female connector. pin one is also the one with a square solder pad on the PCB.
remember that the run/stop gate is a _gate_, not a reset pulse. it is high as long as the transport is engaged, so if the device you're sending it to wants a short pulse you'll have to trigger a short AD envelope with it or something. _________________ http://suitandtieguy.com
