Power supply ready built?

Author Power supply ready built?
Analog>Plugins
I'm looking to buy a power supply big enough to power at least 8 Oakley modules.

I would prefer one ready built if possible, so what are my options and how much/who do I pay?

Cheers

motm-900 (synthtech.com) @800mA on +/-15v
blacet power supply (blacet.com) @500mA on +/15v - but you will need a power distribution board to get power to 8 modules (use the blacet power distribution board or the motm power distribution board)

you can also use a motm-950 but it also supplies 5v for use with some motm modules like the '730 and '650 midi-cv and +/-15v provided is 400mA each.

In addition to Consumed's fine suggestions you could also get a Synthesizers.com QPS2 power supply:

Then either just cut off one end of all your Oakley/MOTM style power cables, strip the ends and wirenut them to the main cable the way the DotCom cables are, or just get a SynthTech MOTM-995 distro board:

Further to other people's replies.

Ready made via Paul Darlow (aka Krisp1) at £55.

This will drive up to seven modules but more can be supported with an additional Oakley Dizzy distribution board.

Eight modules is around 240mA, so I would recommend using the big Yamaha power supply. Paul sells them to UK residents at cheaper than Yamaha I believe.

We are working on a ready made power supply but more on that story later...

You've probably already seen this page:

In the US you can get the Power-one unit HBB15-1.5-AG. This will power more than 8 modules maybe up to about twice that number.

will allow your system to grow if you want it to - and don't we always!

Cheers for the replies peeps, much appreciated. I think it might be best for me to get Krisp 1 to build me one as I am in the UK.

Do I order from the Oakley page as I can't see it listed on Krisp1's site?

One of these days Paul and I will sort out a more coordinated approach to our combined web presence. Paul currently has two sites, and I have just the one. I think Paul is working on combining his two sites at the moment and that should make it easier for me to link into his.

Right now if you see anything you fancy off the http://www.oakleysound.com site then you can either e-mail Paul direct or go in via his website.

Contact e-mails to me and Paul are found at:

Tony is right I have plans for my website to make it allot easer to buy things and tidy it all up

Also link Krisp1 closely with Oakley sound pages

This will take time and that is the one thing I am maxed out on for the next few months

best thing to do is shoot me an email
compact PSU's is £55 and the Yamaha PA-20 is £30 + shipping
If you buy them together I will supply the 3 way connector and a suitable amount of wire to connect them together

As Tony said If you see an item on ether web sight that you think you would like Just Mail me and Im sure we can work something out
