Thanks. In fact I was pleased to finally get the Brainseed to properly track the incoming pitch CV. Had some problems with the calibration, which apparently needs a factory trim so had to send it to US from EU. It is a great addition to a compact travel case, freeing up the main sequencer for other duties.

Seeding has a Depeche Mode vibe to it. I was expecting Dave Gahan to join in at any moment. :yay: Very nice!

Man, I too am really digging these! Thanks for posting!

Can you talk a little more on how you're getting these long evolving note sequences? What is sequencing what, and triggered by what?

So mesmerizing…

D'oh, I now see the the additional info on vimeo. So STO is the bass voice - what is sending it it's slow v/oct sequence? Hope you don't mind the questions...

Yes there are patch notes on the Vimeo and SoundCloud pages, but to answer p@@@nts the long evolving note sequences come from the STO that is sequenced by the Brainseed. The v/oct is patched through Kinks Sample and Hold so as to change note in time, but slower than, the main sequence.

detailed patch notes below:

PATCH NOTES FOR FERFIN TRACK

Three voices from MakeNoise STO VCO, Noise engineering Sinc Iter VCO, Mutable Instruments Rings, all triggered independently by Abstract Data Octocontroller and mixed with MN Optomix and Synthrotek Stereo Output Mixer. Effects via MI Clouds in Spectral Madness mode (+Reverb), Disting in Delay mode, and 4ms Dual Looping Delay.

Sequence programmed in Qu-Bit Octone and recorded into AntiMatter Brain Seed. Sequence G D G manually scaled up and down on downbeat G in m pent scale.

Thanks! Yes, I find the constraints from the small travel case make me dig much deeper into each module, and their interactions with each other as a system.
Just added a new video!

Wow, I'm putting my first system together in a case about that size, and I was really hoping I could accomplish great music similar to this with it...and you've proved that to me so thank you! Great stuff

Thanks - and good luck with your system! It took a fair amount of module-swapping between my main rack and this travel case in order to find the best combination of modules that fits, and also provides enough flexibility/variation/number of voices. The difficult bit is deciding which modules to keep out. And the process never really ends...

Those are great !
and happy to see we have a lot of modules in common (and in the same case !).

Any chance that you end up releasing them as an album or make them available for download ?
