Talk about not seeing the wood for the trees how many times did I check that panel

yeah i quite like it too!

i wasn't meaning to be facetious with my original post, i just thought it was funny wink

i usually pronounce it "tambur" like in tambourine or "tarmbrer", but am not really sure of the correct french pronunciation. i have heard it pronounced "timber" often enough too.

And then I pump it all out through this shoe to give it that "oaky" tambruh.
felix
I always pronounce it "tambur" as well, but I think the "correct" way is tambra, with soft long a's.
haricots
i think it's the right word, just spelled slightly wrong > Timbre > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timbre, http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/timbre
Kwote
this is the exact kind of module i wish i could've gotten a year ago.
Kent
Well, en français, the word "Timbre" means 'stamp'; which makes sense since you are basically adjusting/changing the 'sonic stamp' or signature of the sound in question.

Timbre is pronounced "Tambr" in French... I've heard all kinds of permutations of this amongst us English-Mother-Tongue-Folk.
BugBrand
Its one of those words that I try to avoid saying 'cos I'm never really happy with my pronunciation!
Luka
it should be timbeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrr

i spelt course wrong on lots of my module designs, i only just worked it out the other day. lucky i had no commit to the etch. i got it so wrong so often i decided to remove it from my vocab. now i use crude
Kent
Oh, yeah... any chance of getting some demo sound files thrown up here?
