CDP / Soundshaper Exp #1 |

It started as a drum loop and then I applied several CDP processes inside Soundshaper. I just got it this weekend and I am loving it... Although, I am mostly scratching my head and getting errors! This is the first cool result I have gotten. I am happy to share how I got this result, if anyone is interested.

Thanks! Yeah, it has been fun. Hopefully, I can figure out how to make some of the tricky processes work. I discovered it when looking for alternatives to the Soundmagic Spectral plugins, since I do not own a Mac. |

| it was the first phase vocoder i had access too. took three runs to get an 8 sec piece of speech processed to 60 seconds but in the end it worked and sounded really nice! |

| I have fond memories of running CDP on a silicon graphics computer in the 90's. Would be nice if it was available on linux too, though perhaps it can be built from source code. |

| Sounds like you two haven't messed with it in a while, you should try it out again. I would love to share ideas with people. The CDP forum is a ghost town. |

well, there is tons of other software around, so i don't think i will bother. |

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Compiling from source code isn't always easy but the instructions look solid for once. |

Yeah! It's deep. Some processes are still a mystery to me, I can't figure out how to make them work - I just get errors. |
