Author curiosity: svco placeholder for expansion

hi,
svco a&b build guides tells you to leave out resistors for expansion port.
(not to be confused with octave daughter board of svco-b )

Is this ever used with another oakley module..or just available to use if diying?
The schematic shows a saw out, a cv2 in, and a dtune and Lin CV ..which I assume are inputs.

pins 2 and 4 am i understanding the schematic symbols correctly ..ground and 0V ? Is this in keeping with your recommended practice of keeping panel and pcb grounds separate ?

..as i say more curiosity than need for build.

You could certainly DIY something to it, but the main reason was to make a 2U wide version, the SVCO-C. This would have a rotary octave switch, linear detune control and CV input, triangle and sinewave output, and a wide range coarse frequency control.

Due to various reasons the module never made it to fruition.

Yes, both panel ground and module 0V are on that header.
