Hi5
All tracks are modular, jomox 999, timeline and some verb. Sequencing primarily from modules with some Octatrack help on some.

Had a semi quick listen to the 4 tracks on crap speakers. And it was really nice!

And i just saw there is a total of 12 tracks on your soundcloud.

I'll get back to playing those when i have more time. Really suits my tastes so far!

Are all the kicks from the Jomox ? It was my main drum machine and loved its sounds. The drum sounds on your tracks are really nice!

Kicks are primarily the Jomox. It changed my life

Listened with some proper headphones to the 5 most recent tracks on your soundcloud. Great stuff! I enjoyed the moods, the intricate sequencing and the fresh synth sounds.

Do you feel like sharing what inspired you or talking a bit more about the technical side ?

I really enjoyed these tracks!

Sorry for the delay. I really can't say what inspired me per say but usually when I start a track I have some idea of a patch, riff, or rhythmic effect I want to begin from. I like using feedback and weird clocks/step lengths often.

Things usually start on the modular and then drums get filled in a bit and then usually back to the modular for more voices and then a final percussion check. Once I get started with a basic synth line and a kick+hats/shaker it usually become clear what the next steps need to be. I try to make sure most of the voices have some movement to them if I can. I record live takes and get hands on with gestures and make basic edits afterwards when something runs too long or a gesture doesn't work.

When I mix down I add some room/plate/space reverb and recently have been riding levels/panning/aux sends more in the final bounce. I don't do any automation in the computer so playing the mixer has been a nice way to add another layer to the tracks.
