I need some more power! And by that I mean I need more power inserts on my Eurorack flying bus cables.

Basically I need the female version of this:

https://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en/assmann-wsw-components/AWP-16 -7240-T/HHKC16H-ND/5031953

which will attach/clamp to something like this:

https://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en/assmann-wsw-components/AWG28- 10-G-300/AE10G-10-ND/686236

but digikey either does not supply them or is making it very difficult to track them down in their database.

Does anyone have a link to a part?

well, they exist: https://www.tme.eu/gb/details/awhp-16b/idc-connectors/connfly/ds1015-1 6nn0a/

there seem to be similar things on digikey, but all very expensive (and did not check the extact specs): https://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en/assmann-wsw-components/AWH-16 G-E202-IDC/HHPL16H-ND/5131492

Maybe it is best to just buy an pre-made flying bus cable: http://www.detroitmodular.com/tiptop-audio-flying-bus-board-cable.html

Or a small busboard (pcb only available): https://www.tindie.com/products/dhaillant/eurorack-compact-power-bus/  (you can also use a piece of stripboard, of course)

Thanks a bunch!

That is pretty weird that the digikey prices are so high for something like this.

I will likely just be buying a pre-made one.

I have also kits and fully assembled units available. This is fun!
If stock shows zero, just PM me!

Ok, that's better.

Ribbon cable is for data transfer. It was never designed for current distribution.

Show your modules (and the money you worked your ass off to earn to buy those modules) more respect ... the phrase "ribbon cable" should not be used in any description of power distribution for your modules. Some things are just wrong.
