Awesome! Can't wait to go through these sounds on my ASR-10.

give some feedback on the sounds when you have some extra time... plus tell me if they are working for you...
they are awesome on my ASR yet using them off CD Rom eye made ages ago....
those look like my original source .efe files

I've been distracted from my quest for VFX transwaves, but have acquired ROM dumps for the VFX and MR sound ROMs. The MR dumps contain metadata which I’ve been reverse engineering, to the point so far where I have a utility to create wav files with loop points, with bi-directional looping expanded to forward looping.

Dumps found here: http://dbwbp.com/index.php/9-misc/37-synth-eprom-dumps

Publication of the dump to wav conversion utility TBC.

Thanks again for posting these!

It took me a long time, but I finally tested them on my ASR-10. They work well, and there are some very usable sounds.

I looked through other samples I had saved, and it looks like this same set was posted for free many years ago on a website called Sound Central.

I think these were likely just recorded by someone running the line out from their VFX into the line in on an EPS 16+. I don't think they are the original ROM file converted to EFE format, since A few of the loop points are kind of rough, and the Transwaves in particular just seem to be audio recordings, rather than actual Transwaves.

They are very cool to have on my ASR-10 though. Hopefully it will keep me from buying a whole VFX keyboard that I don't have room for!
