Moog Mother 32 octave problem

Author Moog Mother 32 octave problem

Hi, I've been using my m32 for around two years now in the studio and on stage. When I use it with midi, every time I turn it on it plays the midi notes in octave 0 or octave -1. So a lot of times when I'm soundchecking for a show i'm transposing all my midi clips an octave up or down, depending on which octave my m32 decides to go. MY ASS IS BLEEDING hmmm.....

Does anyone else have this problem or heard of it?

Thanks!

Make sure your M32 is at its C4 pitch (lower C of the 4th octave) before you play the MIDI clip - that might help.

I've been trying stuff all day and I've found the problem. When I turn on my RME Fireface UC with the midi from the Fireface plugged into the M32 it somehow triggers an octave switch one octave down. And it's fixed when I restart my M32.

Thanks!
