Author Wiring transformer to Doepfer DIY A-100 power supply

Greetings,

Wanting to be absolutely sure about this and the local shop wasn't able to tell me 100%. When connecting mains power (ie. wall wart transformer) to a Doepfer A 100 power supply... do I need to be concerned about positive/negative voltage? Or does the fact that the transformer supplies AC voltage render that question meaningless? The Doepfer PDF doesn't specifically mention positive or negative voltages on the transformer side, so I think I'm okay just crimping on a pair of insulated disconnects to the bare wire and going for it. But again just want to be 100% sure.

Pictures attached for reference.

Also bonus question... do I need to be concerned about wiring anything to the Ground pin? This is going in a wooden box with metal tabletop rack ears+rails.

AC doesn´t have plus or minus, so it doesn´t matter, just connect it.
Your bonus question opens a huge can of worms, so I won´t answer that.

Haha... okay thank you kindly for clearing up the AC question! I will need to do a little more research on grounding.
