Because of the digital PIC the Velleman K8064 dc controlled dimmer gives visible steps of light intensity when fed with a continuos varying voltages (like a slow LFO)
Much like a staircase.
While the old Velleman K8003 dimmers give smooth fluctuations of light.
These are also simpler circuits with about 20 components.
But they aren't for sale anymore.
Would it be easy to breadboard this one?
Or find a very similar circuit from another brand?
I'm also interested in buying four K8003 dimmers if someone has them still.
Or a way to make the stepped light intensity on the Velleman K8064 go smoother?
Thanks in advance!
