Hello!

I'm just going trough my Oakley backlog, and for the SVF I need two
470pF, 63V 1% polypropylene

It's not easy to find these with 1% - somebody has a source (Europe), or a part number, or an alternative?

And since I misplaced the PTCs I had ordered for my two VC-LFOs: has somebody a source for these (Europe again). I had the idea to just use SMT- parts and mount them ... is this a bad idea?

Thanks for info

You can also use 470pF C0G ceramic capacitors with a lead spacing of 5mm in place of the polypropylene capacitors. Indeed, since I wrote that Builder's Guide eight years ago the availability of good quality ceramics have spread while other types of capacitors have dwindled. I think I'll update it today.

Temp co resistors - the smaller ones - can be got at Farnell:
