speed up my 555 clock

Author speed up my 555 clock
floris
Dear,
By turning the potmeter, the counter clock on my sequential switcher goes from around 30 to around 6 seconds.
Can I speed this up by switching a few components?
Any range from around 0,5 till 10 seconds would be great.

I hope these pictures give you an idea.
The nearby cap says “103 KCK”.
Thanks for the help.

it looks like C101 is the timing capacitor. take a look at its value, and get something ~1/3rd the size. alternatively, it looks like R101 is the timing resistor. so if you put in something ~1/3rd the size, that would both reduce the time, and increase the time range.

Eureka!
thanks

you will have to put in a smaller cap to start with, which will set the longest time. and then if the shortest time isnt short enough, put in a smaller resistor.
